The club was formed in the mid 1980's by Ray Elliott and a small group of flyers.
Initially, the flying site was the "Gaer Fort" in Newport.
However, in the early 90's, due to noise and the proximity to the M4, a better site was required.
We now have a great field in the Marshfield area (between Newport and Cardiff).
